Pep Guardiola has secured his first Carabao Cup Final trophy as Manchester City Manager.
City defeated Arsenal 3-nil this morning where Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva scored for the team.
This was the sort of day Manchester City's owners had in mind when they finally brought Guardiola to Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2016.
Lightweight, loose in possession and defensively weak, Arsenal were no match for City.
Both teams will now meet again in an English Premier League match this Friday at 7.45am.
Meanwhile, in the English Premier League matches this morning second placed Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 while Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 1-nil.
