Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza has found Umendra Kumar guilty and has convicted him of one count of abduction and three counts of rape.
Justice Hamza stated that the evidence given by the victim was credible.
The 33‑year‑old taxi driver had abducted the 14‑year‑old girl from Nasinu and took her to Nadi, Lautoka and Rakiraki and raped her on three separate days.
The incidents took place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of January 2014.
Kumar has been remanded and the sentencing hearing will be on 7th March.
