The Legal Aid Commission Director Shahin Ali says all of them that work for the Legal Aid Commission are customer service officers.

While speaking at the Customer Service Workshop for the commission, Ali says everyday they provide a service to someone and their level of customer service must not be compromised nor should they be selective in how they treat customers.

He says the Fiji Legal Aid Commission is a major stakeholder in the justice sector and their role has never been more demanding and the expectation from the public and other stakeholders has never been more challenging than what it is today.

Ali says they must adhere to the values of the commission and they must always ensure that they provide a service which is professional, efficient and must be quality based.

He adds they have come a long way in the last 20 years and there is still a long road ahead for them if they are to truly provide greater access to justice for all Fijians.

The workshop finishes today.
