The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has finished third at the Las Vegas 7s after defeating South Africa 26-22 in the Bronze Medal final.

The national side fought to the final minute to hold on against the strong South African side.

Fiji’s tries were scored by Paula Dranisinukula, Alasio Naduva and two tries from captain Jerry Tuwai.

Fiji was leading 19-5 at halftime.

Meanwhile New Zealand, on the other hand, finished fifth after beating Australia 17-12 in the fifth place play-off.
