Marking International Women’s day today, Westpac Fiji General Manager Brett Hooker has today launched the Westpac Women and Girls Education Grant.
Speaking at the Grant launch Hooker says that Westpac aims is to continue empowering women to make confident choices by providing education, information and networking opportunities.
There are a total of nine grants available, three grants for each of the three categories which is Primary, Secondary School and Tertiary students.
For the Primary School awards, the successful recipients will receive $400, $1,000 for Secondary and $2,150 for Tertiary students.
The closing date for applications for the grant is 5pm on 8th May 2018.
Hooker in his closing remarks encouraged women and girls of Fiji to never give up, take on the challenge and continue pressing forward and success will follow.
