Police will be interviewing more people in regards to the murder of a student nurse in a settlement near Labasa Town yesterday.

Police have confirmed that they are awaiting the post-mortem report of the woman and the husband remains in custody.

Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Vakacegu Toduadua had said yesterday according to the initial information, the husband is alleged to have struck his wife with a kitchen knife.

The incident took place near Nasekula Village.
