Heading into the main day of competition of the Tailevu Athletics Zone, Ratu Kadavulevu School and Naiyala Secondary School are currently leading the boys and girls medal tally respectively.
The boys from Delainakaikai are leading the boys category with 1 gold while Naiyala Secondary School is leading the girls division with 2 gold, 3 bronze and 2 silver.
Adi Camari Lasaqa of Wanibuka Secondary won gold in the girls 3000 meters while Viliame Salusalu of Ratu Kadavulevu School won gold in the boys 3000 meters.
The Tailevu Zone will continue this morning at 8.30am with the 400 metres heats at the ANZ stadium.
