All 134 passengers of the MV Spirit of Altruism have arrived in Natovi on MV Spirit of Harmony.
Patterson Shipping Spokesperson David Patterson says they were all safely transferred on fibreglass boats to the MV Spirit of Harmony late this evening.
The MV Spirit of Altruism which belongs to Patterson Brothers Seaboard Shipping Company Limited hit a reef earlier this morning and has been stuck just past Levuka since.
Patterson says there was a delay in the transfer of the passengers because they were following their safety procedures.
He has also confirmed that the salvaging operation is now underway.
8 vehicles are also on board the ship.
Patterson says MV Spirit of Altruism is on top of the Cakau Davui Reef and is in a stable condition.
He says the ship had engine problems and drifted to the reef.
The ship left Natovi at 7.30am today for Nabouwalu.
