The Hurricanes outmuscled the vastly improved Sunwolves with a 43‑15 bonus point win to take them to the top of the Super Rugby standings in Wellington last night.

The Sunwolves tried very hard and were direct and got in behind the Hurricanes a few times and even took a 7‑0 lead.

The Hurricanes tries were scored by Vince Aso, Jordie Barrett, Finlay Christie, Reed Prinsep, Julian Savea, Brad Shields and Beauden Barrett.

In another match the Stormers defeated the Rebels 34-18.

Meanwhile today the Reds will take on the Lions at 5.05pm, the Blues will face the Jaguares at 7.35pm, the Brumbies will face the Crusaders at 9.45pm while the Highlanders will take on the Bulls at 3.15am tomorrow.
