Three juveniles who allegedly assaulted a couple before robbing them are in Police custody.
Police say the man was allegedly assaulted by a group of youths when he was returning from a shop in Raiwai.
The man’s wife who was sitting inside a taxi with their daughter came out to assist her husband and she also was allegedly assaulted before they took her phone.
Police say the robbers then grabbed a bag from their daughter who was seated inside the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The Southern Division Taskforce, K9 and officers from the Raiwaqa Police Station tracked down three of the youths aged 17.
Police confirm that all the stolen items have been recovered.
