A man has pleaded not guilty to one count of rape and one count of sexual assault before High Court Judge Justice, Daniel Goundar.
He allegedly raped a woman in Vatuwaqa on the 22nd of March this year.
The prosecution has informed the court that they will not be relying on the caution interview of the accused as he claims that consent was given by the victim.
They have also informed that they may call 3 witnesses.
Justice Goundar has transferred the case to Judge, Justice Salesi Temo and the matter will be called on the 4th of June.
Bail has been extended.
