A man charged with using a false University of the South Pacific Certificate for Bachelor of Education to get increased salary from the Ministry of Education between 1st February 2010 and 10th March, 2012, has been released on $2,000 bail.
He is charged with using forged documents and dishonestly caused a loss of $3,158.65.
Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara has also issued a stop departure order.
The case has been adjourned to the 6th of June for plea.
