A seven-bedroom house in High Street, Toorak directly opposite the Fijian Elections Office headquarters was destroyed in a fire early this morning.

The fire started at around 11 last night.

Home owner, Davendran Nandan says the fire started from one of the kitchens.

 

He says there were 13 people living in the house including his family and tenants.

No one was injured in the incident.

Firefighters managed to control the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
