The Indian High Commission has today donated 6000 bottles of indelible ink to the Fijian Elections Office.

Indelible ink is the ink that will be used to mark voters so they will not be able to vote again in the same election.

The total cost of the ink is $260,334.

Indian High Commissioner, Vishvas Sapkal says India's relations with Fiji are excellent in all spheres and the two countries are in close bonds. 

Sapkal says India is a committed development partner of Fiji.

He says the Commission has also given $67,830 for the procurement of a Mahindra SUV for the Elections Office soon.
