Key issues such as training, licensing of builders, proper standards, and cyclone certification will be discussed at the inaugural Construction Industry Council conference next month.
Construction Industry Council President, Gordon Jenkins says they plan to come up with solid resolutions that will lead to substantive action and real solutions.
He adds that as a cross cutting multi‑billion dollar industry, with critical linkages across other sectors, the upcoming Construction Industry Council conference will also shed more light on the overall economy.
Jenkins says interest in their trade show which will also run parallel to the three day conference, has also attracted several major overseas supplier brands such as New Zealand kit home specialists Trenz Homes and leading industrial adhesive manufacturers Bostik NZ.
