The Queensland Maroons side to take the state into a new era without champions Cameron Smith, Johnathan Thurston and Cooper Cronk has been named.
Greg Inglis will take over from Cameron Smith as Queensland’s new captain side for Origin I.
Other top players that have been included for Queensland are Billy Slater, Valentine Holmes, Will Chambers, Gavin Cooper, Cameron Munster and Ben Hunt.
Andrew McCullough will play in place of Cameron Smith.
The New South Wales Blues team is expected to be named tonight.
The first match of 2018 State of Origin will be played next Wednesday in Melbourne.
