All three assessors have returned with mixed opinions in the case of an 87-year-old man charged for the rape of an 11-year-old girl in Nakasi.

The man is charged with two counts of rape and a count of sexual assault.

The alleged incident occurred between April and May 2016 in Nakasi.

The first assessor found the man not guilty for all the three counts.

The second assessor found the man guilty of a count each of rape and sexual assault and not guilty for the other count of rape.

The third assessor found the man guilty of the two counts of rape and not guilty of sexual assault.

High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo will deliver his judgement  at 11.30am tomorrow.
