Two Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s players have been nominated for the World Rugby Men’s Sevens Rookie of the Year award.
They are Alasio Naduva and Eroni Sau who have both had an impressive season for the Fiji 7s team.
Eroni Sau has scored 36 tries for Fiji this season while Naduva has scored 21 tries.
This award has been previously won by captain Jerry Tuwai.
The winner will be announced on Monday.
Meanwhile, according to World Rugby, if South Africa win in Paris, Fiji will still take the series if they finish 2nd or 3rd.
The Fiji Men’s National 7s team will take on Samoa at 8.50pm Saturday in their first pool match of the Paris 7s.
The national side will then face Kenya at 11.46pm on Saturday in their second pool match while the final pool match is against New Zealand at 5.14am on Sunday.
