Germany manager Joachim Low says his side deserved to go out of the FIFA World Cup after they crashed out in the group stage in "historic" fashion.
The defending champions finished bottom of Group F after losing 2‑0 to South Korea, the first time Germany have gone out in the first round of a World Cup since 1938.
Low says this is something for them to reckon with and this is historic which will create some public uproar in Germany.
Sweden won the group with a 3‑0 win over Mexico at the same time, which meant Germany needed to win their game in Kazan.
Both of the South Korean goals came in injury time.
In Group E, Brazil beat Serbia 2-nil while Costa Rica and Switzerland drew 2-all.
Brazil will now play Mexico at 2am next Tuesday in the Round of 16 while Croatia will play Denmark at 6am next Monday.
Meanwhile, the last round of group matches will finish tomorrow.
At 2am, Senegal will play Colombia and Japan will play Poland. At 6am, England will face Belgium while Panama will face Tunisia.
