Brisbane have piled on the points in a crucial 34‑0 victory over the Titans on the Gold Coast that has all but ended Gold Coast's faint NRL finals hopes.
None of the Broncos' nine previous wins this season had been by more than nine points.
But poor discipline and consistent errors from the Titans made it easy for the Broncos to establish a 20‑0 lead by the break.
At the end of round 17, the Rabbitohs lead the NRL points table with 26 points, the Dragons are in second place also with 26 points, in third place are the Storm with 24 points and the Panthers are in fourth place with 24 points.
