A man charged with aggravated robbery and giving false information to public official has been remanded in custody by Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.

Jiuta Buliqereqere pleaded guilty to giving a false name to a police officer and pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery.

It is alleged that Buliqereqere stole assorted items and cash to the total value of $4,044.70 on 20th April this year in Suva.

The case has been adjourned to 20th July for mention.
