56 foreign productions with an estimated total spending of $85.4m has so far been shot in Fiji this year.

This was highlighted by the CEO of Film Fiji Dallas Foon.

Foon says that these productions will generate $240m into Fiji’s economy.

He adds that Film production in Fiji is growing at a rapid rate compared to the same period last year.

In 2017, a total of 74 foreign productions were shot in Fiji and they were worth $308 with a generated economic activity of $361 million.
