The Viti Spinal Injuries Association of Fiji has helped approximately 332 people and this was all possible due to the Old Skool Ball.

This year the association managed to collect $84,445 in the Old Skool Ball that was held on the 20th of this month.

This was collected from pledges, auctioning of items and the selling of tickets.

Viti Spinal Injuries Association of Fiji’s Secretary Rokula McGoon says the funds collected not only goes to those that have spinal injuries but also to the elderly, amputees, those involved in motor vehicle accidents and those that suffered a stroke.

McGoon says the numbers of those that suffer from spinal cord injuries will increase as they are still in the process of collecting data from home visitations and community work.
