631,895 voters have been registered as at 31st July, 2018.
The number of voters has come down from the 636,764 in the last roll that was taken this year.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says this is due to the Fijian Elections Office working together with the Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages Registry, FNPF and the Ministry of Health in identifying the number of registered voters that have passed away.
Saneem stated that so far, they have removed over 7,684 registered voters.
The total number of citizens that have registered in the Central Division is 261,603 and the Eastern Division has 25,941 registered voters.
In the Western Division, over 242,171 have already registered to vote and in the Northern Division there are over 94,207 registered voters.
There are 313,239 female voters and 318,656 registered male voters in terms of gender break down and since the month of June, there have been over 3,572 new registrations recorded.
The largest polling station present in the country is John Wesley Primary School with 5,172 registered voters recorded to vote at that polling venue whilst the lowest polling venue recorded is the Dogotuki village tent with 19 voters registered to vote there.
