The Prime Minister of Samoa, Tuilaepa Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi will be arriving to Fiji tomorrow for a three‑day official visit.
As part of the visit, the Prime Minister of Samoa will be paying a courtesy call to the President Jioji Konrote and is expected to later meet with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama for a bilateral meeting.
He will be addressing a gathering at the University of the South Pacific as part of the University’s 50th Anniversary and later pay a visit to the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Suva.
Fiji and Samoa enjoy a strong partnership, as Pacific Island Nations who have spoken together on the great challenges faced by Pacific Islanders.
A government statement says this visit by the Samoan Prime Minister is another important milestone in friendship shared by Fiji and Samoa, and will build greater bridges of cooperation and solidarity between the Fijian and Samoan people.
