A Police raid conducted earlier this week in Bilibiloca, Tukavesi resulted in the seizure of more than 2,000 plants believed to marijuana.

2145 plants ranging from 2 centimetres to 2.55 metres believed to be marijuana and dried leaves were found in 2 buckets also believed to be marijuana.

Police say information was received about the farm and a team from the Tukavesi Police Station conducted the search and raid at around 3am where the farm was discovered as well as dried leaves found in buckets.

Police have information on the alleged suspects as investigations continue.

No one is in custody.

The plants have been sent for analysis.
