A man charged for possession of drugs has appeared before the Suva High Court today.

Kritesh Kumar was allegedly found in possession of 1.4kg of methamphetamine in November last year.

Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe has told the man's lawyer that he is ready to go ahead with the case.

Justice Rajasinghe has adjourned the matter to the 30th of next month.

The man has been further remanded in custody.
