Team Fiji to the Youth Olympic Games today presented their i‑Tatau to the President Jioji Konrote.
President Konrote congratulated and thanked the young athletes for their efforts and hard work in preparations.
Konrote adds that representing the country should be a proud moment for any athlete as they will be carrying Fiji’s name in the international arena.
Team Fiji Chef de mission Tomasi Tiko says that the team has been preparing for more than a month and the athletes are focused for the games.
Three athletes from Fiji will be taking part in the Youth Olympics.
These athletes include Serenia Ragatu, Grace Yee and Chang Ho Kim.
Serenia Ragatu will be taking part in the athletics competition while Grace Yee will be taking part in Table Tennis and Chang Ho Kim will be taking part in Badminton.
The team is expected to leave the country on the 5th of next month and the Youth Olympic Games is expected to open on the 6th to the 18th of next month in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
