A man was produced in the Suva High Court today charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

The 33-year-old man is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted the girl on the 9th of this month.

The alleged incident took place in a settlement in Lami.

The case will be called on the 25th of next month for plea.
