A heavy rain warning remains in force for the interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu which includes areas along the Coral Coast, Nausori and Tailevu as well as Kadavu and nearby smaller islands and southern lau group.

A trough of low pressure with cloud and rain lies slow moving over the southwestern parts of the group.

This is expected to affect the group for the next few days.
