Suva soccer defender Waisake Navunigasau says as the host for the 2018 Courts IDC, the pressure is on them to win the title for the first time since 2014.
Navunigasau is remembered for scoring the winning goal in the 2012 IDC final against Ba at Govind Park.
Navunigasau says that with the inclusion of players such as Laisenia Raura, Meli Codro and imports from Solomon Islands they will bring in new ideas for Suva.
He says that they have been working on their combinations with the new players and the coaches have identified their weak areas and they are working on strengthening that.
The 2018 IDC begins this Friday at the ANZ Stadium, where Rewa will play Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa will play Nasinu at 3.30pm , Suva will play Nadi at 6pm while Ba will play Lautoka at 8pm.
