Despite an impressive win by the Fiji Airways Drua over NSW Country Eagles in the 5th round of Australia’s National Rugby Championship, coach Senirusi Seruvakula says the team did not play according to the game plan.
Seruvakula says the Drua players need to understand the game pattern and only then no team in the NRC will match them.
When asked on the team changes he makes every week, Seruvakula says that there’s one rule in the team and that is if you don’t perform, you don’t play.
He said that this is why he had contracted a squad of 33.
He adds all players know the consequences if they do not perform.
The Fiji Airways Drua will face Canberra Vikings at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
