The search for seven people reported missing at sea is continuing this hour.

Police say the a yellow fibre-glass boat left Nawaikama village in Gau at 5am yesterday morning for Levuka which had seven onboard.

They arrived in Levuka and did some shopping and departed from Levuka at 9am to head back to Gau.

By this morning it was reported that the boat is yet to arrive in Nawaikama.
