Fiji's very own Ronald Jai has been honoured with a special award at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
The local singer who has been singing and entertaining for the last thirty years received the Appreciation Award from the Indian High Commissioner to Fiji Vishvas Sapkal.
Jai who started his career as a drummer has played drums for many international artists from Bollywood during their shows in Fiji.
He says he has worked very hard and made many sacrifices to get to where he is today.
Jai says it is through his sacrifices and hard work that he has been able to travel to Australia, New Zealand and Canada to showcase his talent.
He has advised the young generation of today to work hard and make a name for themselves.
He has also thanked Communications Fiji Limited and all his supporters for always supporting and encouraging him and says it is always a privilege to perform at the Fiji Showcase and the Street Party.
