The Fiji Roads Authority says officials from the Ministry of Forestry have cut most of the overhanging branches on Dilkusha Hill that was pointed out by the Geotech team and is still left with a few more trees that are on the high end of the first slip.

This exercise is expected to be completed today.

The FRA adds that they will also be removing all the waste vegetation that was cut down by officials of the Ministry of Forestry and carry out drainage works that was blocked during the slip on Sunday.

We have again asked the FRA as to when another lane will be opened on Princes Road in Dilkusha and a confirmation is expected later today.
