Insulin mixtards are still unavailable at some pharmacies around the country.
Superdrug Pharmarcy Nabua confirms that they have no available insulin mixtard in their stock as of today.
Assistant Pharmacist Shaheena Fairoza says that their main suppliers MIOT and the government have not supplied them with the new stock.
City Pharmacy which is located in Mid City Complex Suva is also facing the same issue.
Insulin is also out of stock at Health Pharmacy in Nadi and Life Pharmacy Limited in Nausori.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Health has stated that they have restocked insulin mixtard at every government health facility and pharmacy.
The Ministry of Health also states that private pharmacies will have to purchase their own supplies of insulin mixtards.
