A 43-year-old woman has appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Police had conducted a raid at Adi Ravi Manu's house in Nailuva Road in Suva last Friday and found two plastic bags containing 0.18 grams of methamphetamine.

Police officers also found $13,942 in her handbag.

Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa has adjourned the matter to the 16th of April.
