The Police Internal Affairs Unit is investigating two reports alleging two serving prisoners were assaulted by some Police officers following their escape from the Naboro Maximum Prison last December.
The mothers of Peniasi Qalibau and Mesulame Waqabaca filed the complaints with Police.

Qalibau and Waqabaca appeared in court yesterday with five other serving prisoners, struggled to walk in their crutches and heavily bandaged legs.
They are charged with one count of damaging property and one count of escaping from lawful custody.
