Two men who are alleged to have been found with cars that were stolen last year have been charged and will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
The two will face a count each of theft of motor vehicle.
Police say the matter came to light when the owner of a black Fielder that was stolen in November, recognised his roof rack on another red Fielder parked at the CWM Hospital Carpark last Thursday.
Police arrested the suspect and upon further investigation, information was gathered of a second suspect's involvement in the alleged theft of the vehicles last year.
According to Police, the red Fielder seized from near the CWM Hospital was also allegedly stolen from Samabula in May last year and was stripped and repainted from Grey to Red.
Police later searched for the second suspect at Korociriciri in Nausori where they arrested the man who was found allegedly driving the black Fielder which was reported stolen in November last year.
