One of the two men arrested over the weekend for allegedly robbing a woman in her 60s of more than $15,000 cash and cheques outside the ANZ Bank Namaka Branch last Wednesday, has been charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

The 27-year-old man is alleged to have been the getaway driver.

He will be produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court today.

Meanwhile another suspect was arrested yesterday and is currently being questioned with the other two suspects.

The woman was on her way to the bank with the money when she was robbed.

Police say all the suspects are in their 20s and one is believed to be a former employee of the company where the 60-year-old victim works.
