The Ministry of Economy has announced that they will be hosting online budget consultations this year.
The Ministry says to keep building the best national budgets possible, they need to continue bringing the voices of the people to the decision‑making table.
It says for the first time ever, they will be holding online consultations on Facebook, with special sessions dedicated to secondary students, tertiary students and the general public.
The budget address will be on 7th June.
The dates and times for the consultations are:
SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS: 5 March 2019 12pm ‑ 3pm
TERTIARY SCHOOL STUDENTS: 6 March 2019 5pm ‑ 8 pm
GENERAL PUBLIC: 7 March 2019 5pm ‑ 8pm
