Minister for Agriculture Mahendra Reddy says littering is a big problem for Fiji as it not only causes pollution but also causes health problems.
Reddy stated this at a training workshop consisting of 58 Litter Prevention Officers.
He also talked about one of his experiences with this problem.
He adds this training is to help all Litter Prevention Officers understand their role and to support the government in its efforts to protect the environment.
