Digicel Fiji says it is not using its customers’ purchased credit without their approval.
CEO Mike Greig says in January last year they launched a campaign called Digicel On, Worries Off and the effort was to put customers in control of what was happening with their out of bundle data.
Digicel Fiji charges customers 24 cents per MB if they do web browsing through their purchased credit.
Greig says when customers’ data plan is exhausted they automatically block data so the customers’ credit is not used.
He says they then ask the customer to renew their data bundle or they can use out of bundle data rates which is 24 cents per MB.
