The Citizens’ Constitutional Forum says it will be holding a peaceful walk along the Nasese foreshore tomorrow to commemorate the victims of the terror attacks in Christchurch and the International Convention on the Elimination of forms of Racial Discrimination.
Citizens’ Constitutional Forum Communications Officer Sylvester Racule says the idea behind the walk is respect as from respect comes love, humility and responsibility.
He says this year’s theme is Eliminating Ideologies that Fuel Racism.
He stressed that this is not a march but a peaceful walk.
Racule says 100 people are expected to take part in the walk tomorrow which will begin at My Suva Park at 6am.
It will then continue along the Nasese foreshore towards the bus stop near Fiji National University Catering School then head back to My Suva Park.
