A man in his 50s has passed away after he was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident this afternoon.
The incident occurred along the Queens Road near Kulukulu, Sigatoka.
The accused was heading towards Nadi when the victim who was walking along the side of the road is alleged to have jumped onto road whereby he was hit by the truck.
He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect will be questioned soon.
