Hurricanes captain TJ Perenara has revealed today that there is a possibility he will move into first‑five if Beauden Barrett goes down during their Super Rugby match against the Highlanders tomorrow.
The Hurricanes have named just two backs on the bench for their Dunedin clash leaving the Wellington Super Rugby franchise with limited first‑five back‑ups.
Reserve Finlay Christie is a halfback with Matt Proctor only experienced in covering the midfield and outside backs.
The Hurricanes will play the Highlanders at 6.35pm tomorrow.
