Ba lost 2‑1 to Hienghene Sport of New Caledonia in the quarterfinal of the OFC Champions League this evening.
Ba took a 1‑0 lead early in the first half through a Malakai Rakula goal and looked confident to book a semifinal spot.
However, the hosts found their way back and both teams were locked 1‑1 at full time.
Hienghene Sport scored the winning goal in the extra time.
Ba's Junior Narendra Rao was also red carded late in the game.
