Police have confirmed that the body of the woman who was found by the river bank near Yavulo Village in Sigatoka over the weekend has been identified by a relative.
The victim is a 19-year-old woman from Barara Settlement.
The discovery was made in the flood affected area near Yavulo Village in Sigatoka by a 12‑year‑old girl who was walking along the river bank.
Police say a post mortem will be conducted soon.
