The Fiji Trades Union Congress has said that the Fiji Roads Authority has rejected their application to use roads in Nadi for their planned march this Saturday.

It says that the Fiji Roads Authority cited high traffic and the lack of personnel to manage the traffic as reasons for the application not being approved.

FTUC also highlighted that the letter from FRA that states the planned size of march would require a concerted effort from enforcement agencies which FRA believes would not be possible as a significant number of security personnel are committed with the 52nd ADB annual meeting in Denarau.
