Minister for Health Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete says all health care providers are aware that they provide essential services and they understand that there are certain processes to follow to allow for a protest.
The Health Minister adds that he is sure good sense will prevail as being essential service providers their role is to protect and not to exploit lives.
He says that doctors and nurses have taken an oath upon graduation to remain apolitical and serve regardless of ethnicity or color.
The Health Minister has confirmed that come tomorrow, all 207 health facilities around Fiji will be open and providing essential services.
